Well Hard Boyz is finally over and I hope the 11 local players who managed to field armies had fun. I only observed a bit of the play but it seemed like most of the players complained a lot about the games. As such I would like to suggest an alternative tournament system perhaps called Fun Boyz. It would be a smaller tournament like 1500 pts and each round after opponents were assigned the organizer would randomly determine if this was an army switch round. In army switch rounds the players would swap armies with their opponents. The tournament would be scored with 30% painting, 30 sportsmanship, 20% battle and 20% player judged comp. This would encourage well painted friendly armies in a friendly environment. Encouraging the hobbyist to attend and increasing the enjoyment for everyone.
