I got to play Stone Age recently and it was an interesting experience. In the game you have a number of settlers which can go to various areas to get reasources or aquire assets. In some areas you roll to get multiple of resources and in others you send these to get assets. It is interesting that this game has a lot of different things you can do and lots of ways to score victory points. As such each turn players make a number of meaningful choices. Unfortunately then each player picks up dice and rolls. I did enjoy the game and I even won but I could not shake the feeling that my outcome had more to do with the dice than and choices I made.
