Patrician by Phalanx games is a great little game. I recently played Patrician for the first time and I thought it was great. It seemed a bit like Web of Power and China but had a very interesting hand refilling dynamic which was both innovative and interesting. In Patrician there are a number of cities which you can play in each with 2 towers the players are trying to build. You score points for having the most levels in the each of the two towers. The interesting thing about this is that every city has a card on it and when you play in that city you must take the card with that city. Now there are a few more tricks along the way as far as play but it moves right along and is fairly simple to learn and play. As it is non-verbal I would say it could be played with game saavy 6 year olds or8+. On a scale of 1-10 I would give this an 8.
