Wizards has been for a while printing fewer and fewer non creature cards. It almost seems that the braintrust at WOC has decided to make magic into a game of creature wars where the only acceptable artifacts are equipment and the all enchantments affect creatures. This is apparent in Morningtide where there are only 7 rares which are not creature spells or creature enhancements. One of the greatest things about magic has been the variety. It use to full of many varied deck types like discard, mill, control, land kill, and locking decks of all types but now these take a back seat to creature decks. I wonder how they think this is suppose to improve the game or promote sales.
