How To be Part of The Warhammer

How To be Part of The Warhammer "A" Team...

By the Cheetah Killer: Tom L.

When running one of our last tournaments
a friend came up to me and we discussed how games were going, generally hanging
out and enjoying the day. He then confessed to me that although he was a long
time veteran 40K player he thought because it had really been a while since he
had played he was really a novice at the game again.

I asked Him what he meant. He was a good player and knew the
rules, hey he's even beaten me! He said that as he looked around at the winners
and losers of the previous rounds that he could tell that we had an
"A" and "B" team. I looked at the room and in a way I could
tell what he meant.

Later in the week I was
talking to the players that he pointed out as some of  the "A"
team. (They really liked the term.) I wanted to know what separated the
"A" and "B" teams. We discussed it for a while and to my
suprise and relief many of the qualifications had nothing to do with Warhammer.
(I guess we do have other lives, who would have thought it?)

Here is a List of some of the things we came up
with.

  • You must place in the top 8 at a tournament
of no less than 20 or more people.

  • You have to take a road trip with the boys to
play Warhammer 40K out of town.

  • You must talk so much smack that you can
    never back it up!

  • You have to bet a box of guardians on some
    stupid Warhammer trivia question.

  • You must go drinking in Geneseo with the
boys, drinking as much as Shaun will let you. You may not Hurl!

  • You must be prepared to do push ups for
    losing a game.

  • Going to the post tournament party is a must!

  • You must shout the 2 tag lines..

    "Can Ya Feel It!!!!?"
    and    "Who's Your Daddy?!!!!"

  • You must use soap! (and smell it)

There are probably more I will add them later.
