How tough is your general?

Rating sixth edition characters

Greater Demon (any of them). Well for 600 points they should be good. These guys can beat an infantry unit from the front with a few breaks.
Vampire Lord. Particularly Blood Dragon of Strigoi. S5 T5 W4 A5 is only the start with these beasties as they have a good comliment of magic items and blookline powers which can make them a killing machine.
Daemon Prince. If not for the instability problem and the monster bases these guys would be better. But they are hard to protect from shooting and can not affoard to lose combat.
Chaos Lord. They have the prerequisite S5 T5 but it is their high WS and I which make them better than the average Lord.
Black Orc Warboss. This is a bargin at 135 points but their combination of quelling animosity, excellent magic items, and solid stat line makes them very tough even if he is a step down from those above him.
Saurus Old Blood. S5 T5 A5 is good but with spawnings and magic this is a monster.
Vampire Count. The little brother of the Vampire Lord is a toughie in their own rights for all the reason stated above.
Exalted Daemon. Though only a hero this demonic terror has the stat line of a lord and counts as two hero slots to prove it.
Saurus Scar Veteran. We do not call him the sore ass hero for nothing.
Tomb King. It seems he should be better due to A4 W4 S5 T5 but a low WS and In combine with a weak magic item list to force him to take combat result wounds too often.
Dwarf Lord. Here we take another quantum leap backwards as the Dwarf Lord's best assests are the ability to make killer runic items to compliment a t5 statline.
Orc Warboss. T5 is so good against the third tier of lords.
Dwarven RuneLord. Although the Runesmith can not kill much his T5 and 150pts of runic items can cover up a lot of faults.
High Elf Prince. Cheap magic items allow the T3 whimp to have some smack but still could lose on any given sunday.
Skaven Warlord. High initiative and good magic items make this an okay killer for the wimp division.
Empire Templar Grand Master. Nice set of abilities but lack of magic choices make him very vulnerable.
Tomb Prince. T4 S4 W3 A3 in a hero is good but then he is a Tomb King hero so there are a pile of problems.
Dark Elf Highborn. Lets face it he should be hiding from most opponents as even the high I will not save him from the average hero.
Empire Elector Count. WS5 T4 S4 A3 W3 I5 there is very little good about him, which is what you get from elected officials.
Slann Mage Priest The spawning do not matter whtn it comes to combat. The big toad is a huge sitting target with one weak attack and a pile of wounds to take. He could lose a challenge by 13. Great in magic but makes the elector count look good.
